Student Educational Opportunities

Our own TDI Summer Camp is a week-long learning opportunity for students entering grade 4-9, hosted by the Green Mountain Center for Gifted Education.

Davis Studio and Community School. Davis Studio’s educational opportunities foster the imagination and nurture creativity. Here, your budding artist will develop important skills and a life-long love of the visual arts. In addition to classes and camps, Davis Studio is home to Davis Studio Preschool and Davis Community School for grades 1 – 3, both arts-rich environments that celebrate each individual’s unique potential. 

The Governor’s Institute of Vermont (GIV) provides fun, accelerated learning residencies on college campuses for highly-motivated Vermont teenagers.

The Learning Emporium is year-round, 9:00-3:00 pm. The Learning Emporium offers grades 1-8 experiential learning opportunities in Science, Wilderness, and Purpose-driven Literacy.

Vermont Dual Enrollment Program offers opportunities for high school students to take college classes.

Vermont Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) is for high school seniors interested in math, science and technology who wish to complete their high school career while completing the first year of college at the same time.

Vermont Commons School is a middle and high school in South Burlington.  Their goal is to engage students with their world through programs and a curriculum grounded in local and global involvement.  This includes multi-disciplinary academics, community service and action, and the journey of self-discovery.

Ver­mont Vir­tual Learn­ing Coop­er­a­tive (VTVLC) works with Ver­mont schools to facil­it­ate online courses for stu­dents statewide.
